What would happen if there was a planet of pure water?

If you could somehow create a planet that was made of nothing but liquid water in the habitable zone of a star, what would it look like? Would it behave like a gas giant with a vaporous atmosphere above a liquid ocean? Would it even be able to sustain itself without being evaporated by solar wind? Would the entire planet act as a super-powerful perpetual tsunami?

Edit: This is just a thought experiment. Obviously a body like this would never form.

There needs to be crisis triumphs

Right now crises feel underdeveloped and repetitive due to them having no real consequence on the game. You just slot in the least annoying policies you get and slug it through until the end of the age.

There should be unique crises triumphs that unlock dedications for the next age, such as defeating hostile powers or curing a certain number of infected settlements.

Do you build warehouse buildings in cities?

One habit that I've changed as I've gotten better is to resist the temptation of building warehouse buildings in cities, especially in the early game. While it's tempting to get that +5 saw pit on turn 30, I've found that in the long term warehouse buildings in cities get in the way of effective planning as they take up a valuable tile that could be better used for buildings or wonders. The only exception for me are the fishing quay and harbor, since marine tiles aren't usually worth much.

The only warehouses I build in cities now are production ones, and that's only if I have a max distance tile that I know I'll never use. Otherwise, it's not usually worth the space.

What's the best wonder resort town you've made?

I settled Uluru planning to make a simple 7 tile resort town but thanks to Hawai'i's food bonus it just kept growing. Ended up with 9 breathtaking tiles, 8 unique improvements, a nice wine and tobacco plantation, and a very pissed off Isabella. On top of the tourism and happiness it also manages to have some pretty juicy yields.

Most importantly it just looks nice, makes me wish I could visit

Why was there a 2000 year gap between the first city states and the first empire?

The first Sumerian city states emerged around 4000 BCE while the first empire (Akkadian) wasn’t established until roughly 2300 BCE. Why was there such a long period of time until individual cities began organizing themselves into unified powers?

Are y’all winning deity games with scientific victory enabled?

In my past few deity runs the ai has consistently been hitting science victories only halfway through the modern era. Since a science victory is basically just science + production it’s very easy for several ai enemies to brute force it with their insane yields long before I can get setup for my own victory.

Adding experience while under NDA?

So I've worked for a private estate doing accounting work for the past 2 years but I'm under strict NDA prohibiting me from disclosing any information that could identify who I work for. How should I communicate this on a resume while appearing transparent, and how much of a red flag would this be to employers?

Goodwill coverage 3 years over warranty?

My 2017 fusion just suffered a coolant intrusion at 72k miles and I need to get the engine replaced. This is a well known defect and ford issued a recall to address this a few years ago, which I had performed. Ford also issued a 7 year/84k warranty for those who had the recall maintenance performed.

How likely am I to be approved for goodwill coverage given that I’m 3 years outside the warranty window but still within the mileage limit, have a long service history with Ford, have bought 3 new Fords in the last 10 years, and Ford is currently facing a class action lawsuit over this exact issue?

Coolant Intrusion, what to do now?

So my 2017 just got the infamous coolant intrusion issue the other day and it doesn't look like I have any good options from here. The spark plugs are burnt into the sockets and unable to be removed, and my warranty is long expired. I can either pay >$5k for an engine block replacement or try and sell the car for whatever it's worth.

Any advice here is much appreciated, is it better to repair or sell?
