Hey folks. I am trying to help a local school who lost their lighting board and have a show next week. The documentation and the workflow is really confusing, although granted I am in a rush. Here’s what I want to be able to do, but can’t seem to figure it out. I need 120 channels of control. I want to be able to set the 120 channels and set the first cue. Then the next etc. and then just playback cue to cue. Any easy to follow method? I get the screen with 24 sliders but can’t get how to patch channels to them- then what do I do if I need more than 24 for a look? I can’t figure out how to page for more channel sliders. Looking for anything that can create a shortcut, as I am helping while working on two other shows.

Hi. Last post was deleted for being egregiously wrong. But I am trying to figure out the Functionality of the chamsys software and it’s very confusing from the view of the outsider. So can someone explain what this means from the manual? It seems to suggest that the magicdmx will not do playback.

”Playback mode is only supported when connected to a MagicQ Wing or MagicQ USB interface. The MagicQ interface must be connected and powered on before MagicQ is started in Playback mode. Note Playback mode is not supported with MagicDMX or 3rd Party interfaces.”
