New Mini Board/Practice Board!

Decided to do something with all my extra pedals. The empress was on the main board, but I decided I wanted it here on a quick little go board instead. Eventually want to replace the Fliptop and Element with an all in one Preamp/DI, just haven’t been able to decide on what yet… if you have any fun recommendations I’m all ears. Some considerations I currently have are the Aguilar Tonehammer V2 or Mesa Subway+. Anyways happy to finally have a little mini go board

Shift Line Olympic MK III

Hey everyone, hoping to get some opinions/experiences on the Olympic!

I’m considering swapping out some pedals at end of chain for my mini board. I’ve seen the Olympic here and there, but actually just started looking into it… it seems like everything I could possibly want.

The Jad Freer is the tried and true Preamp that a lot of players who play my genre (CCM) seem to be switching to… but I feel like if I went that route, I’d simply be doing it because it’s “what everyone else is doing”. I’ve never felt a hard pull towards it…

The Olympic on the other hand has me excited on paper. I never see any boards with it or people talking about it though so hoping to get some more insight. Thanks!!

NPD! Beetronics Royal Jelly

First pedal in awhile that’s given me GAS. Been wanting to experiment with some kind of OD-Fuzz blender for a while, and when I saw and heard this I had to have it. Been playing around with it and already loving the sounds I’m getting. It goes way heavier than I really need, but I’ll probably end up keeping the Queen side more drive and usable for the live music I play, and make the King side a heavier more experimental/fun fuzz side. Bonus points that it’s got my favorite color🤙🏽

Mini Board Help!

Hey everyone, I’ve got some extra pedals laying around that I’d like to turn into a mini go board. I’m trying to make it as small and compact as possible.

Here’s where I’m at: the app that I use to design, the smallest board is a Pedaltrain Nano. I used to have a Nano, and I fit a lot more on it (second picture). It would work, but it’s more space than I’d like.

Anyone have any good mini board recommendations that would allow me to squeeze these 4 pedals onto? Bonus points if it comes with a case, and can fit a VoodooLabs X4 under it!! Thanks!!

Favorite Utility/Tool Pedal?

What’s everyone’s favorite utility or tool pedal? The pedal that isn’t flashy or fun, but it has a job and it does it stinkin well.

I’d say this might be mine. It’s currently off the board, but I bring it with me anywhere I go in case I need some extra EQ wizardry

Yeah… this is the one.

After around 3 years of nonstop change on the board… I’ve finally, for the first time ever, come to the conclusion that this the perfect board for me (for at LEAST another 3 weeks). Haha, but in all seriousness, I’m super happy with where this board is currently at. It does everything I need and more — perfectly.

SOTB - Back to AnaDigi

Threw the Stomp back on the board. Super versatile. Always loved the sounds and quality that I got from it, but didn’t love all the effects and the “usability”. Turning physical knobs has always been easier for me.

I’ll use it mostly how I did before. I have the drives in the effects loop, I’ll use amp/cab, and some reverb, maybe chorus, and not sure how I’ll use the third stomp, but I’m sure I’ll find something.

SOTB

Swapped the Sharpied Red templeboard for the vintage white (love it), and put the Bass ParaEQ back on. Should be done for awhile 😉

Chain Advice - Neptunium, Fliptop, Element.

Hey everyone, I’m thinking about switching up my chain, but wanted some opinions first.

Without going into details of other pedals in the chain, currently I have a Broughton Fliptop (B-15 Preamp), going into a Darkglass Element (1x15 Cab Sim) and then my SushiBox Neptunium (Noble Clone) to front of house.

I saw someone mention the other day running their Noble at end of pedalboard chain, and then into a B-15 and they love it. That got me thinking and I’m considering swapping to Neptunium, into the Fliptop, into the Element at end of chain now. Thoughts? Good idea? Bad? Appreciate the insight!

Analogman Chorus on Bass

Anyone have experience with the analogman on bass? I’ve never found a chorus that I quite like on bass, and I think a lot of it is that I feel it sucks a lot of low end…

I’ve tried the Boss CEB and Walrus Julianna, but never fell in love. I’d like to give it another try and am looking for something that can do “subtle”.

I’m interested in the analogman with the top jacks and DRY blend knob. Feel that it would come in handy, but wanted to see if anyone has experience, good or bad? Thanks!

New Storage System!

Before you judge… the case was the only one with the right dimensions to fit my board with the new riser hahaha. I searched long and hard. Still need to get foam for it.

And since I had the case… decided to go all in. Now I don’t have to carry my backpack and other bag with all my other gear. All fits into one cohesive system. Trying it out in action for the first time tomorrow!

Newbie Here. Looking for advice.

Hey everyone, I am brand new to this hobby, and when I say brand new, I mean that a few minutes before this post it was still just a thought.

Legos were a huge part of my childhood, and I’d love to start collecting minifigs. Ninjago was especially a big part of my Lego scene, and I watched the show as well. I think that is where I would like to start. I used to have a ton of sets and I’m not sure where any of it is now (I’m sure my mom sold it all years ago to make space).

I was hoping to find more information on how to get into the hobby. How do I research figures, their market values, where to get them, etc. There is a local Bricks and Minifigs right by me, but I also know that they’re controversial at the moment.

Anything helps. I’m super naive when it comes to this, but really want to learn more… thanks!

Ah man! NPD - Empress Drive

I’ve had a dream of a pedal like this for a LONG time… so when one of my favorite pedal companies finally came out with one I had to get it. Super stoked to get this on the board!

SOTB - Double Tier

My Go Anywhere Do Anything Board! Been wanting to do this for the longest time. Finally got off my lazy butt and knocked it out. It’s not the cleanest cable management, but it’s my first time doing something like this, and you can only do so much with fixed cable lengths.

Chain: Buffer > Canvas Tuner > Empress Bass Compressor > 3Leaf Octabvre > JHS MGC > Walrus Ages > Broughton Fliptop > Broughton SV-Pre > Darkglass Element > Empress Bass ParaEQ > Walrus SLO > SushiBox Neptunium

Board packs a punch for a small footprint. I’m really happy with it. 18”L x 8.5”W x 9”H
