Cast on Dodge Ember Fusillade - how much does the ignite DPS matter?
I'm running a CoD Ember Fusillade gemling, and I just crafted a loreweave with "100% of Elemental Damage Converted to Chaos Damage".
Is this enough to unspec Blackflame Covenant? Obviously the damage would still be getting converted to chaos, but I would lose the lines that say "Chaos Damage from Fire Spells Contributes to Flammability and Ignite Magnitudes, Ignite inflicted with Fire Spells deals Chaos Damage instead of Fire Damage". My instinct is that if I'm blowing everything up immediately, ignite shouldn't really be factoring in, unless there's an interaction with ignite that I'm not aware of?
Is this a jackpot roll or do I still need Blackflame Covenant?
Is Chain that much better than Fork? (Cast on dodge ember fusillade)
All the guides I've seen mandate +chain on snakepit/loreweave, and there's a 10x price difference for similar loreweaves with chain vs fork.
Can someone explain why chain is that much better? I understand that chain autotargets and fork doesn't, but for high density mapping shouldn't fork be similar/perhaps even higher damage?
Need help prioritizing upgrades for Cast on Dodge Ember Fusillade
Hey y'all, I've spent the last few weeks working on a Cast on Dodge Ember Fusillade build, and it's definitely the highest investment/most complicated build I've ever tried. Basing it mostly off of Jungroan's, but freestyling a bit based on stuff I've seen on this sub. My goal is to be able to blast 200% deli city maps, and I feel like I'm close but they take me a while to get through and I randomly die on them about 1/3rd of the time. I know there are a ton of different upgrades I need to make, but at this point they all cost 100+ div so I want to make sure I'm prioritizing them correctly.
These are all the upgrades I need to do, in rough order of how important I think they are (I'm sure I'm wrong). Please let me know if you have thoughts or if I'm missing something huge.
- Get amulet with +4 spells, +fire spell crit, and +spirit. Currently I don't have enough spirit to run all my buffs, so I'm manually switching off CoC for mapping (which I think isn't getting proc'd much when i'm just dodging) so I can switch on Ghost Dance and Withering Presence (is this worth it before Dialla's Desire?).
- Switch body armour to Loreweave with +qual and +chain so I can replace Snakepit and apply more Wither stacks
- Buy +2 Fusillade Prism of Belief, upgrade rare jewels
- Upgrade Palm of the Dreamer to have reduced skill effect duration to free up passive points?
- Buy legacy supports: Her Declaration, Seraph's Heart, Dialla's Desire, Uhtred's Augury (roughly in that order?)
- Buy Runeseeker's call. I'm sure this will be enormous powerspike, but the coast is just so expensive so I honestly don't know how to prioritize this.
- Upgrade Decree of Flight to +35/+35
- Raven-touched shard for helm to allocate Gem Enthusiast or Zarokh's Gift
- Swap out Maligaros for arcane surge or +proj skills gloves
- Upgrade Rite of Passge to Spirit of Cat
Would be very grateful for any insights, thanks!
Looking to reroll a fun/low button Gemling build on a ~300div budget, any ideas?
Eventually I want to try the Cast On Dodge Ember Fusillade gemling but I get the sense that it's not really worth it until you can invest 1-2k div.
Any ideas for a build that can handle juiced endgame mapping on this kind of budget? Ideally with 1-2 buttons? I've never played Gemling before so I'm intimidated by how many different variants there are!
