Socializing at Havasupai/Supai Village?

I really love the southwest in general and would love the idea of making this a bucket list visit. The hike and camping would be worth it to me for a cool experience in a remote village. My one question is, what is it like once you’re down there? Can you socialize in the town with the locals? Are there any events? Can you socialize with the other campers?

My favorite way to meet people when I’m traveling is to visit local pubs/bars but it seems like the only place open in the village is a cafe that closes at 7pm, and from YouTube it seems like it’s not even open consistently, so I’m not really sure what that means in terms of meeting people and socializing. When I search this group I’m not really finding much either.

EDIT: basically what I’m looking for is… what is there to do on a Friday night in Supai Village? And where do the locals go vs. where do the tourists go? Is there anywhere where they go hang out together?

Thank you, dashers!

It is a little past midnight and my 2 month old baby is finally asleep. My husband is working an overnight and I am sitting here with my late night dinner on the couch with my cats after hours of making sure the baby is fed, happy, clean, and resting. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you all for being available for those late night new parent runs. 💜
