Punchy book about AI that’s not leftist or depressing

Im a new mom, Berkeley educated, and I run in very high net worth circles with my husband who owns a jet business.

I’d like to feel more “in the know” about AI, world markets, the like— for my son’s future & for my social circles.

Let me know if anything comes to mind. As I also am a bit anxious AI suggested The Age of Magical Overthinking (but saw it had bad reviews), The Thinking Machine, and Chip Wars. Anyone second or detest these?
