I got a tent at the end of last season second hand that has completely shot sealing along the seams of the tent as it is flaking and feels off easily. I haven't re waterproofed it as I am not sure where to start but I did take it to a damp few days in Glencoe last year where I think it let some water in. I have seen there are exterior sprays and seam sealers you can use. Therefore I have a few questions:

Do you need to retape the seams for the seam sealer to work?
What methods/ products are recommended for the exterior, seams and tape (if I need it)?
