1800 CFM Pro Line Hood or 900 CFM Vent-A-Hood?

I’m trying to choose a vent for my daily cooking, which is indian cooking so obviously lots of spices involved. I’m trying to choose between an 1800 CFM pro line or ventahood for 900 cfm. The reason I’m asking is because I’m reading a lot that the latter’s l lung system essentially raises the effectiveness without the need for more CFM. So wanted to know if there were any recs between the two

Any kitchen designer recommendations?

I have a contractor renovating my house, and they’re rebuilding the kitchen. As apart of the contract, I have to provide them a “kitchen design” and the cabinets + flooring for them to install. Anyone have any recs on companies that do this, or if, idk, Ikea does it or something, any good name brand suggestions? Preferably something that isn’t breaking the bank considering renovations is already expensive.

I'm renovating my house, and currently the contractor is mentioning they'll install hat lights (recessed lighting). In my current room, I control LED lighting using my HomePod. Now that I'm used to that, the ability to control lighting with Siri is so nice and I'd like to keep that functionality, but also be able to turn it off and on with just a regular switch on the wall in case I have people staying over or the wifi goes out and the lights lose internet connection. I saw Govee sells matter compatible recessed lighting:
https://www.amazon.com/Govee-Recessed-Compitable-2700K-6500K-Downlight/dp/B0F2165SNY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

But I'm reading some reviews say that it only works with voice, other reviews saying that if you connect it to a wall switch, then it'll lose connection to wifi and you have to set it up all over again, and then others saying to use a "smart switch" but I have no idea what that is. If the latter is a battery powered wifi switch or something, again, that defeats the purpose because without internet, the light is useless.

Anyone have any tips or thoughts on if this is possible?
