Air freshener like glade automatic or febreze plug in?

I have two dogs, and live in the south. Its hot, humid, and like my house to not smell like a dog shelter. Any ideas to replace my current air freshners that I can plug in and forget about until it needs to be replaced?

AITA/AWTAs

My partner and I have been together for over a decade. His family and my family give us a hard time because we are "different" then them, i.e. continued education, normal 9-5 careers, a little bit of spending money, and DINKs(we waited until financially ready, and now finding out we probably didn't need to wait, we just might not be able to. 🫤)

His mother recently was diagnosed with a benign tumor. It is pressing up against a gland, causing some minor health issues, but the tumor itself is not a "problem", just its location. The doctors have already confirmed everything and are scheduling surgery to remove it... in about a month.

additional info:

2010 she "had stage 4 cancer in her uterus and only 10 months to live." -she's still kicking after a full hysto.

2016 - she had a mysterious bone disease and was going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life... she's not yet?

2020 - had bone cancer in her jaw and was going to have a special surgery where they removed her jaw and replaced it with cow bone.... she got dentures.

2022 - *I* found a mole on her scalp while braiding her hair for 4th of July. It was soft and cracked from brushing after the shower. I told her to get it checked, just because we live in the south, and heads sweat, didn't want any type of infections or anything. She goes to the doctor and comes back to tell us she has a brain tumor that has gotten so big it grew through her skull and was out on top of her scalp.... the doctor removed it in office and we haven't heard about this brain tumor since.

2024 - we didn't even believe her when she said she was diabetic. 🤣 turns out she is! And she has been managing and dealing with it very well and everything is great, thankfully!

Flash forward to today - yes, the tumor is real, partner and/or I were with her in the hospital for multiple days, spoke to doctors, etc...

Everyone is jumping down our throats because "we don't care enough." We have both taken multiple days off work/left work to be at the hospital, helped her get home when she was released, picked up meds because she isn't supposed to drive until surgery, etc. But we aren't full on freaking out about her having a benign tumor and we aren't scared or worried about it. Yes, tumor. No, not cancerous. Yes, scheduled tumor removal date. No, not damaging/harming any vital organs just pressing up against one.

AWTAs for not crying and sobbing and freaking out about a single, non cancerous, tumor, that the doctors are so unworried about that they scheduled the removal for 4+ weeks out?
