I made this 10 years ago. ✏️ I drew the background pattern myself as a simple line design, then experimented with it in Photoshop using different effects and blend modes until I got this. 😊
I wanted this drawing to have a soft fairytale-like romantic vibe. 😊
I originally drew this on paper in 2015, before I got my drawing tablet. So I traced the lineart with a mouse using vector points, then finished the piece in Photoshop.
Fun fact: she’s actually a mermaid. 🧜♀️ I know it’s not very obvious since only a small part of her is visible, but that’s what I intended her to be. I even added seashells to her hair.
Though honestly, the final result ended up looking more like a constellation. ⭐ That wasn’t my original intention, but once I started developing the drawing, it just naturally turned out that way. 😊
