Vinland Saga is such a huge inspiration for my art/comic. I always find myself going back and meticulously sift through the manga to find new techniques or ways to draw weapons and attire.

I drew this 10 years ago as fanart for a writer friend of mine. They’re the main characters in one of her books, so this piece is still very special to me. 😊

I know it has a lot of flaws, though. Back then I was still learning how to render, and I often relied on textures to cover up my weaknesses. 😅

10 years ago I was still figuring out digital art. I used my photo textures all the time to kind of hide how bad I felt at rendering. Hope you still like this early attempt of mine. 😊
