They are asking for 4000 rupees. Yet, they cannot even provide a room for a couple of days. They cannot allow parents/guests to witness the convocation. They can only watch it on a fucking streaming, which they could do from home as well.
Also, even if someone chooses not to attend the convocation, they are still supposed to pay?? This place is getting more ridiculous as days pass by.

Yo, I know it's too late and there's barely any IPL left. But today I randomly came across a place which screens IPL!
I have always been looking for such a place in the town, where we could munch on and watch the match with friends.
This is called The Social Yard, and it's located in Kanuru.
Looks like it's a new place and people do not know about this or sth, coz there were literally just 5 of us today sitting in about a 150 seating area in front of a big ass screen lol. The vibe was lacking. Hopefully the vibe builds up for the rest of the two games.
PS: We were roaming around the place after dinner when we stumbled upon this place. So we just ordered lime soda just for the sake and sat down for a while hehe. Planning to try the food soon. Perhaps I can come back and update on how the food there was. However, the menu and restaurant itself looked great to me.
They have built a wall against the door and it's now permanently closed. A,B,C,D,E,F,G hostel students cannot go to kattangal without walking all around the east gate via the dangerously built footpath. And MHB students CANNOT EVEN ENTER THE CAMPUS. Students are being restricted from entering their own campus. You either have to fight like "cockroaches" with 100s of students to get onto a 20-seater bus which is very irregular at its best, or walk all the way through the new A Hostel tunnel in this scorching sun.
And the student body is just silent? I cannot believe how this university is leaving no stone unturned in making literally everything in students' life inconvenient, yet there's absolutely no dissent at all. And if there is any kinda dissent the student is threatened with a heavy penalty!
Any newly graduated school/college students planning to come here for their UG/PG. Please, please, come only if there's nothing else left. And think twice, ask around! don't have to take my word for it.
