Boarding up my desk: Getting back into the hobby

Recently got back into the hobby and decided to rebuild some of the classic boards I had lying around over the last week.

  • Bear65 V1 with Keygeek Y3X Switches on PC Plate and Pbtfans Atomic Purple
  • Think65 V2 with SWG Cheddar Switches on FR4 Plate and GMK Nuclear Data
  • Space80 Apollo with Gateron Type R Switches on FR4 Plate with GMK Jamon
  • Mode65 with Mode Obscura Switches on Aluminum Plate and GMK BoW with Black Modi and Shanshui Novelties

Hello, could use some of your opinion on the following 3 options I have. My build is mostly white with some wood accents at the front and a black motherboard and ram inside an Antec Flux Pro White:

  1. 5080 AMP Extreme Infinity - $1336 with tax - new
    1. Higher boost clock - most likely negligible
    2. Better aesthetics but may not go as well with my build
    3. Possibly slightly worse cooling based on some threads here. Apaprently has the same cooler as the Solid OC but the Infinity Mirror and LEDs lead to some temp increases.
    4. 3 year warranty
  2. 5080 Solid OC White - $1336 with tax - new
    1. Lower boost clock
    2. Aesthetics fit better with my build as is
    3. 3 year warranty
  3. 5080 Solid OC White - $1216 with tax - open box
    1. $120 dollars
    2. 2 years warranty
    3. May not come with an anti sage bracket

I was ready to go with the Solid OC open box until the other 2 options popped up.

Currently my build is 9900x3d, 64 gig ddr5 (5600, CL40 - basically got it for free otherwise I would get CL30 6000), MAG B850 MAG Non-Max, Freezer 3 420mm.

Based on some digging, the performance is pretty much identical between all of these. Aesthetics isn't extremely important to me but the idea that I may be getting a better deal based on MSRP for the AMP Extreme Infinity is what's making it hard to make a decision.

Any thoughts is greatly appreciated.
