Need to pause Cape until RCS works

I really have enjoyed using Cape and saving at the same time. Unfortunalty, I am missing too many communications, losing out on work and personal data to continue operating without RCS.

Even if I start a conversation, I get booted if someone replys with RCS. Unable to reply, i need to totally start a new message thread. I must have a dozen different threads with the same coworkers and we are all losing track.

Has anyone had luck with progressives?

I'd pick up a pair today if I could add progressive lenses (and a discount code would help!). Anyone been able to add progressive lenses, and if so, from where? Thanks!

20 hours into Cape

I'll attempt to update this as I go. I signed up for Cape yesterday. While I expected a few growing pains, this has been a real exercise in patience bordering on gaslighting.

Porting over was super easy thanks to support from Verizon. Verizon's support was fantastic and timely. At no point did I wait for more than 30 seconds for a reply and answer. Pretty impressive in spite of me leaving their system.

First issues post port: no cell service. Data service through Cape was fine. I was able to use it to interface with Cape support, which was a bit less responsive than Verizon.

It took about 2 hours and a new eSIM to get voice working.

2nd issue - a slew of apps installed without authorization. 29 in fact. Mostly games you see ads for everywhere like Kingshot and the like. I contacted Cape using the Cape app on my Android. I was unable to resolve WHY this occurred on a platform that is supposed to be geared toward privacy, when these aps harvest and sell your data.

The support tech asked me to provide a screenshot, which I had at the ready. The problem is, CAPE does not have the ability to share images on their app's chat. This resulted in an hour of the technician telling me I am wrong. I hande the phone over to a friend, who was equally stumped.

Today I contacted Cape about the Buy-Out credit they offer. I had $550 left to buy out my phone. I paid it to Verizon, relying on Cape to hold up to their offer to pay up to $500. I went on the Cape site and was instructed to enter my email. The email arrived shortly and it said I was to contact Cape tech support. Oh no, not this again... yes, this again..... 30 minutes of explaining and re-explaining only to come away with "Save this ticket number..."

EDIT AT 30 HRS. Many things have improved with time and a bit of hands-on setup. My SpeedTest results after signing up were pretty slow at 2.6Mbps Down and 2.2 Mbps down. Recently a few runs averaged around 14.3Mbps and 3.17Mbps down.

I've read that RCS take a few days to activate. Currently only SMS is active, so fingers crossed.

EDIT AT 1 WEEK. No RCS. Speeds are good, but a bit shy of what I had with V.

The RCS status I receive from Messages is:

Cape (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Status: Not Supported

RCS chats have been disabled by your carrier. Status code: 4002

Other than that, I'm okay & sticking with Cape for more of a shakedown.

Referral Code: 4EY0RAYR

Online GMP training

We hired our first interns & I'd like for them to do an online GMP training before they head into the lab. Any suggestions?

How to remove Computer

I got the email, saw the hype, and installed Computer thinking it was a demo or could be used with my Pro account. Now every workflow I ask for says I don't have enough credits or need Max. How do I roll back the Computer install?
