Replacement battery thoughts

Hi all, I have a 2006 S50, It is my first bike and I've been riding for about 3 months. I bought this bike second hand, and have done alot of work on the bike with the exception of the battery. After some roughs starts with the battery recently and several attempts to charge it, it finally gave up the ghost about two days ago.

When I removed the battery, the previous owners had installed a smaller battery, a GS QT12B-4, and was secured in the battery space using some rubber. I heard they attempted to install a larger battery and things caught fire. Btw, I do not have a battery cover.

Since I've started been working on the bike I've tried my best to get everything original. I'm not in the US, and importing batteries where I am has some red tape, so I got a Continental YTX16-BS which are the same measurements as the original but I'm sure those of you who know are probably saying it, the terminals are going to be wrong, and yep, they are top and front, not to the side as Boulevard batteries are.

I've installed the battery earlier, using the front terminal connector, with alot of rubber covering the positive terminal, and the battery is millimeters away from the chassis. Based on how tight a fit it is I am concerned about safety, given no battery cover and how tight it is?

Now my question to y'all, should I get a shorter battery, maybe the YTX14-BS or something else.

Basically what are your thoughts/recommendations?

Reordered lessons has me struggling

After over 1400 days streak, I only recently started enjoying Duolingo a lot to the point where I actually stay on a bit longer and do the lessons twice a day, and started suggesting that I pay for Duolingo max family. I started feeling confident in understanding and making progress in Spanish.

Then this week it seems they reordered the lessons. I’m now in chapter 4 topic 60 in a completely new topic with a lot of conjugations which I’ve no idea how to do and words I’ve not learned, neither highlighted as new, and I’ve had to resort to try and figure it out on the fly, getting it wrong, cause the tips don’t do anything and finally exhausting the energy.

This I believed happened on Thursday evening, Cause with the lesson reorder I finished my friends quest, completing 3 lessons in the morning then one at night and none of the lessons were reflected in the quest.

I understand getting out of my comfort zone but this I think is really pushing me to drop this app completely. I don’t know what I expect from posting this maybe they get an idea of how to improve but I honestly don’t care about streaks and chests that keep extending my boost. Give me the layout that allowed the structure to maximize the learning, charge me for the video calls and advanced features and make the app what it was supposed to be.
