I will never check out funbearable. Producers aren’t podcasters.

Chuck seems like a nice guy, but seems boring as tits. Leave the podcasting to the talent ya queef!

Does anyone on the planet besides Mark say “that’s lunch” when describing something in a positive light? Or is this Mark’s catch phrase that never really took off

Personally I like it but also find it cringey at the same time. Like - bro it didn’t take off, the ppl have spoken - lunch is not it. Seems like he’s taking it to the grave tho - which I respect.

So Mark is a full blown alcoholic, right?

I thought he’d tame it down as he got older, settled down with wife + kid, but doesn’t seem to be the case.

Buying a boat where the owner still owes money on loan. Safe way to navigate this? Or red flag that I should avoid & seek different boat?

really nice boat i want to buy. the owner doesn't have title, as he still has payments left on it.

the boat is listed for 21k, he proposed I could pay him 16k & the bank 5k.

I have never done a transaction like this, and am a bit wary due to majority of boat listings boasting 'title in hand'.

doesn't seem like a sketchy guy. really nice boat. he lives in a nice home, has wife + kid etc.

looking for advice!

Torn between these 2 boats. 1520 Key West w/ 60hp Yamaha 2 Stroke vs 1702 Sea Pro with 70hp Suzuki 4 stroke. Key West $11k, Sea Pro $21k

honestly driving myself mad. They are quite similar, would the Sea Pro ride considerably better than the Key West? Is the difference worth 2x the price?

Help me decide!

Successfully water tested a pristine condition (garage kept) 2003 Key West 1520 with a 60hp Yamaha 2 stroke. Only issue was no power to the console (radio, gages, gps no power). Easy fix or potentially expensive shop visit?

The boat was in immaculate condition due to being meticulously maintained (owner was an older rich guy who clearly took good care of his toys, had nice cars, nice house, etc)

Only issue was no power to the console which impacted the radio, gages, garmin to not power on. He mentioned this may be due to a bad ground connection which could potentially be an easy fix, which sounded genuine.

Curious to hear your thoughts. Is no power a major red flag? Or easy fix?

Boat started right up & we cruised without issue.

Would a 4 stroke work on this boat or would it be too heavy? 2003 Key West 1520

Really nice Keywest 1520, with a clean Yamaha 2 stroke. Garage kept, really nice on the eyes - engine didn't skip a beat either.

Issues:

Steering felt rigid. I found it stiff, not user friendly to navigate the turning.

Issue with power - gages on dashboard didn't work, GPS didn't work. owner said something to do with fuse connection? idk

Even if the GPS did work, it was an old black/white Garmin small unit, wasn't like a modern screen / chart plotter. This means i'd likely need a new transducer for the new modern garmin GPS?
