Help me choose a 512GB camera/video phone (best value options, S25 vs iPhone 16 vs Vivo X300 vs Oppo Find X9)

Help me choose a 512GB camera/video phone (best value options, S25 vs iPhone 16 vs Vivo X300 vs Oppo Find X9)

Need suggestions for a reliable camera/video phone (512GB compulsory)

Recently lost my S24 Ultra so now looking for a replacement. Trying to avoid Ultra-level pricing again if there’s a solid option that makes more sense value-wise.

My priorities are:

- Great camera

- Great video quality (video slightly more important than photos)

- 512GB storage (non-negotiable)

- Reliable long term performance

- Good software experience over years

Usage is pretty normal overall. No gaming or heavy stuff. Just need something that stays smooth and reliable for years without slowing down or getting messy after updates.

Currently considering:

- S25

- iPhone 16

- Vivo X300 series

- Oppo Find X9 series

I’ve seen a lot of praise for Vivo X series cameras lately, but I’m still unsure about:

- real-world video consistency

- low light performance stability

- long term software reliability

Same doubts with Oppo as well, especially the slightly processed / “too polished” look some flagships tend to have.

Not really an iPhone fan, but open to it if it genuinely ends up being the most reliable option for video + long term smoothness.

My ideal pick would’ve been the S25+ but I couldn’t find a 512GB variant.

Looking mainly for something that gives the best overall value without compromising too much on camera/video quality or long term reliability. Open to suggestions beyond this list too.

If nothing really makes sense, I’ll probably just end up stretching and going for the S25 Ultra again.

Confused about 512GB camera/video phone after S24 Ultra

[India]Recently lost my S24 Ultra and trying to figure out what to replace it with.

Main priorities are camera and especially video quality along with long term reliability. I also need 512GB storage which is non negotiable.

Usage is pretty normal overall. No gaming or heavy tasks. Just want something that stays smooth and consistent over a few years without feeling laggy or getting worse after updates.

Budget wise I would prefer to stay under 80k inr if possible and can stretch up to around 1 lakh only if there is a clear reason it is worth it in real world camera and video performance and long term use.

Right now I am looking at options like Samsung S25, iPhone 16 and Vivo or Oppo flagships but I am honestly confused because opinions are very mixed especially when it comes to actual video performance compared to specs on paper.

I am not fully brand locked to anything just trying to understand what actually makes sense as a proper replacement for S24 Ultra in daily camera and video use.

Would really appreciate suggestions from people who have used these long term.
