Offering: Dutch (or English) | Seeking: French

Hoi!

I (27f) am moving to Belgium soon and would like to improve my French. Whether you are French or Belgian or neither I don't really mind, as long as you speak French fluently. In return I can offer Dutch (NL), I am a native speaker. If necessary I can speak English too (as you can see!!) As for French, I'm not sure what level I'm at - I did French in high school, but the teacher mostly retold the same anecdotes every other class (in Dutch, sadly) or we watched Taxi, so I didn't learn too much there. Right now when I'm reading a French text I can understand it okay (although it takes effort), and I've been listening to the InnerFrench podcast which I can follow quite well. However, I'm struggling to understand native speakers, and am not nearly confident enough yet to have a full conversation. I'm looking for someone to text or call (although initially I don't think I'll be able to speak a lot of French). Open to talk about most things really, send me a message and we can have a chat about things (-:

hello! I have a folder of files which are supposed to make up a font. I know the font was created on mac, I am not sure of any details however and this folder is all I have to work with.

The files are mostly .bmap and .afm plus one file called AdobeFnt.lst. As for the rest of the files the file type is unclear. I did a bit of searching and learned .afm files need a .pfa or .pfb file to actually do anything, but the folder doesn't include anything like that.

I converted some of the .bmap and .afm files to text to see if there's something in there at least (there is) and tried to open files in fontographer, fontforge etc. but this obviously didn't do anything.

What are the .bmap files anyway? What program was used to create this font? Is the fact that I use windows an issue? Is it possible to make this work?
