Living Inland

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I actually love most everything about it. The architecture, food scene, friends and family live here, great parks, hillsides… but I’m really struggling with the lack of water.

I guess I’m wondering if living somewhere with a lake, beach, ocean etc really affects overall happiness. I don’t know if I’m getting hung up on something so arbitrary. It feels insane to move just because there isn’t water nearby, but I wonder a lot about it.

Hotels with pools

Why do we not have any hotels with pools?! I need a staycation hotel that isn’t just a city hotel! And Not Great Wolf pool haha (no shade it’s great but looking for something less chaotic). Does anyone have a go to?!

Going on Vacation in a Month

Is it a horrible idea to up my tretinoin use to every night a month before a girls trip?

I have been going between differin and tretinoin about every other night so far with minimal purging, but I just used tretinoin 3 nights in a row and now have a large pimple (could be coincidence?). I am using .025% and have been using every few nights for about 2ish months!

I’m using tret for long term anti aging, but wanting it to keep my skin clear simultaneously like the differin did. My skin has been extremely clear for the first time in my life since using Differin (sometimes I wonder if I shouldn’t rock the boat), but I would love the anti aging benefits of tret long term (I’m 35).

I am going to the East Coast of the US and my concern is purging in the midst of my trip.

My son did not thrive at a play based, more traditional preschool this year. We are considering sending him to a Montessori school that we loved when we toured. He is a very independent kid who thrives when he feels like he has some control, so I felt like this might eliminate some of the struggles he faced at his current preschool.

Has anyone switched their child to Montessori after their child struggled at “normal” preschool? If so, how did it go?
