Limerick Siren This Morning

I'm not the only one who heard the sirens going off from about 9:40 to 9:55 today, right? I can't find anything on the web, and the radio stations they tell you to tune into didn't have info either.

EDIT: My neighbor says he heard it too (we are in Chester Springs), so at least I know I’m not completely crazy. I’m glad you guys didn’t hear it and it was probably something else.

Toro Timecutter 4225 transmissions both stuck in bypass/freewheel. How to re-engage?

The main solenoid died on my 2017 Toro last week, when the mower was in a location where it could not stay until the replacement part arrived. So I pushed both transmission bypass/freewheel levers in, and rolled it out of the way.

Now the new solenoid is in, the mower starts and runs fine. BUT pulling the levers back out does not allow the mower to move under its own power. I have "massaged" them by pushing them in and pulling them out dozens of times; I can feel the mild "click" at either end of the throw, so they're not broken. But nothing I do results in the transmissions re-engaging.

With both of them pulled out as far as I can move them, the mower can still be rolled (with the brake disengaged). What can I do to get the mower operating again? And how are both transmissions suffering the same failure mode at the same time? This is breaking my brain. Thanks for any ideas.
