Gentillis Exton - fav pizza in chesco

Heyo.

I just wanted to post some appreciation for this spot. Its always good. Even on a busy friday night. The staff are friendly and the menu is locked in. Theyve got a focus on their pizza and sandwiches and thats really all they have to do because its great every time. Pictured is a vodka meatball + longhots, Picante pizza. And i forget the name of the last one but it had a lot going on but it all worked tbh.

Check it out if you're in Exton area!

Terrible Accident at Marsh Creek State Park

It sounds like a paddleboarder fell into the water and never surfaced during yesterday's storms. I live a few miles away and the storm hit so fast that it caught all of us by surprise in terms of rampup and intensity. My deepest condolences to all impacted by this.

Welcome to July! The Sun rose angry this morning, looking like it intends to hurt us for thinking of cooler weather. The next few days will test everyone's patience and air conditioning for sure. Stay cool & hydrated. Shot with the Sony A99II and Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 GND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

The Exton Mall is closed and will be demolished

I spent many evenings there wasting money at Time Out and Spencer’s

I know malls are dying but it’s kind of sad that era is over.

No swimming rule at Marsh Creek is dystopian horse shit

Relaxing at marsh creek and the park ranger keeps coming up and announcing on his little loud speaker “no swimming or wading in the lake. Go back to shore” What a bullshit rule. Why does it exist? Liability? Insurance? Regulations? How about swim at your own risk? I’m so sick of this overly policed shit. Just let people enjoy a public park. It’s the only free way to cool off for fuck sake.

Minisplit Installation Cost

I've been getting quotes to get a single ductless 18k minisplit in my garage and the first two I got just seemed outrageous, I don't know if I am way off or getting hosed here.

Can anyone recommend a fairly priced installer? And/or what has your experience been in the area?

500 houses for 55+ and an aquatics center going on beautiful farmland on Lionville Station Road

Please drive down Lionville Station Road and tell me more development is the right thing for that green space. I took a video of my last drive. I’ll DM it to you if you want.

I’m so sick of the over development of this area. DASD owns the land. They were going to build a high school there. So our tax money just sat there for how long while the land appreciated in value. Will we get any of it back? Take a lucky guess. And what hospital will all these 55+ people go to? And what will happen to all the 55+ communities when all the boomers die? You think Millennials will be able to “downsize” to a $650k house?

Automotive Shop Recs?/ Serpentine Belt Snapped

Hello all! My boyfriend’s serpentine belt snapped at some point between him arriving at work and trying to leave in Berwyn. His steering wheel is now immovable and he can’t reach any auto shops until morning so we are wondering where would be the best place to call first thing tomorrow? We live in North Philly so we know nothing about the area in this regard. Please help! Thank you!

Solar Power

Talk to me about solar; the good and the bad. What company did you use? What hardware did you decide on? Do you own your system or are you leasing? Are you still paying PECO for anything? Did you have to do any roof upgrades beforehand? In the end, are you happy with the decision to go solar?

Looking for the best dermatologist near Malvern/Paoli, PA

Hi,
Over the last 6 months, I’ve noticed a rapid increase in the number of skin tags on the back of my neck.
Can anyone recommend a really good dermatologist around Malvern? I’m looking for someone who is thorough, takes concerns seriously, and can evaluate whether there’s an underlying cause as well as discuss removal options.
If you’ve had a good experience with a dermatologist for skin tags or similar skin concerns, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.
Thank you!

Trying to think of store name

Ok so I usually do doordash in Delco/Delaware or KOP area but one day I was in Chester County (I believe) and I came across a store that was like a Wawa (kinda). It even had the screens you can order sandwiches with and I can’t think of the name of the store but it was in what seemed like a random area. It wasn’t any of the big name brands. But when I went inside to pick up the doordash I also ordered myself a sandwich and it was amazing and I want to go back again but I can’t remember the name or where it was. Does anyone know what store I’m thinking about?

202 south exit to 401 west- right turn illegal?

There's 2 right turning lanes on the 202 exit to 401. Everybody comes to a stop and checks for traffic then continues into the turn on red. A police officer followed my friend for a few minutes (I guess until they got to a spot where the traffic wasn't as bad) and pulled her over to give a warning that it was an illegal maneuver and he was doing her a favor not writing a ticket this time.

I can't find anything online that says this is illegal. There's no 'No Turn On Red' sign on the stoplight. Is this a real law?
