Recommendations for a doctor who provides HRT for menopause?

My previous doctor is out on FMLA leave and doesn’t have a return date yet. Can anyone recommend a doctor in Chester County that prescribes and is familiar with HRT? I guess technically they don’t even have to be that familiar with it, just willing to prescribe what I’m currently taking!

November trip: Germany and Paris or Paris and Aix-en-Provence

Will be in France towards late November for 9 days. Have a wedding to attend near Metz France on 11/21. Flying in on the 16th (very early am) and flying back out later in the day on the 24th.

We were thinking we’d try to see some Christmas markets while we’re there. Considering Freiburg for the first part of the trip, heading to Metz for the wedding and then ending the last 2 nights in Paris. Both Freiburg and Paris will have a Christmas marketmarket while we’re there.

A friend suggested maybe we do Aix first and take the TGV from Paris as soon as we arrive then into the wedding and again into Paris. Aix will also have a Christmas market.

For anyone who has been to both, which would you suggest in November?

Honestly we love just seeing beautiful architecture and strolling around cute cities/towns while in Europe. Not really looking to do big museums or anything like that. More interested in somewhere we can just immerse ourselves in the culture, have good food and wine, maybe a wine tasting, see some pretty buildings and new sights.

Is it acceptable for a couple to order 1 entree and 1 plat to share?

Headed to Paris tomorrow after 2 glorious weeks in other parts of France. The husband and I have discovered we just can’t eat much in the heat and when staying active and walking a lot.

My husband especially can just skip dinner. I can’t, so our compromise is generally sharing a meal. Will that be frowned upon in Paris if we get 1 entree/app and 1 plat to share?

Train station in France to Park car and take train to Bern for the day?

I previously asked about parking in Bern, but it turns out we can’t take our rental car outside of France. We’d really like to spend a day in Bern. Is there a train station in France not too far from Bern on the drive from Annecy to Colmar where we could park and just take a train in? Thanks!

What is Orly currently like for EES lines?

For a while I was seeing lots of updates about current airport status, but I haven’t noted anything lately. Has anyone flown into Orly recently from the US and can share what the queues are like?

We’ll be arriving this Saturday at noon if that makes a difference.

Stopping in Bern on Drive between Annecy and Colmar - parking options?

As the title says, I’ll be driving from Annie to Colmar next week. I want to stop and burn for a few hours to walk around and get lunch. What are my best options for parking since I’ll have a rental car? Thanks much!

Increased estradiol and sore breasts

I started .5 mg estradiol six months ago. When I initially started, I felt great. Most symptoms improved immediately. I had already been on progesterone and testosterone.

After a few months I felt like I plateaued and some symptoms returned, so we upped my estradiol to 1 mg. My breasts have been insanely sore, but overall I do feel better. Is that normal and will it go away with time as my body adjusts to the increased dose?

I used to think we were fairly frugal. We live in a lcol area and don’t spend excessively.

I’m planning for FIRE and we reached our goal of 2.1. I’ve been running numbers to update our annual budget and between health insurance, car insurance, utilities and property taxes I’m already at $20k - half of what some people say they need. Then there’s groceries and everything else and it adds up quick.

Just curious for those with a low budget, how are you managing??

ETA - I feel like I should add that my car and house is paid off.

We’re hoping to early retire in the next 5 years (50 M/F). We think we’re in a good financial situation, but we also feel like we don’t truly understand HOW to retire early.

I’m constantly reading and researching, but I’d like to just find an expert who can give us well thought out and planned steps that we should be taking to get ready.

Any recommendations??
