Found at my local Goodwill

This isn't the first book of his that I've seen in the wild (always at Goodwill), but I was definitely surprised the first time I came across one because I thought he was just a fictional character in the show. No, I did not buy it lol.

I finished the show, I sobbed, I need more.

This show is elite in my opinion. I loved every second of it. It will be a rewatch for sure.

One thing that stuck with me is Henry and his sociopath tendencies and how he could switch between being the "good guy" who was sweet and gentle with the children to evil Henry who would chase them through the woods. I don't know that I've ever seen a villain so well-written before. I found myself wanting to like Henry when he was talking to the children in sweet voices and giving Holly presents, knowing full-well that he was only doing it for his own selfish gain and not just to be nice. Sociopaths only do things that benefit them, so when the benefit stopped, Henry stopped and went back into the abuser/villain role.

There was something so chilling about seeing that, and I wonder if there are any other shows or movies that have characters like him. I know a lot of it comes down to the actor being convincing enough to pull the viewer into their mind and Jamie Bower did an incredible job at that. Any recommendations are appreciated.
