I want to go meet with the New York YoYo club, i know they meet every Sunday. I work in a nursing home so I work every other weekend so I wouldn’t be able to go every Sunday but I would try to make it every other Sunday and just get more in touch with the community, I’ve never seen anybody else YoYo in person before only videos online. I’m from Staten Island so I’d have to just take the ferry. Also maybe even attend some contests but I wouldn’t want to compete just watch and attend.

I had a little trouble at first getting it to land on the correct string and not land on both strings at once but I started using my thumb and index finger to spread the strings apart so it lands on the right string

The past couple of days I’ve been wondering what exactly Evan did to get into the split bottom mount, I know it’s not complex I just don’t understand it 🤣🤣 idk what it’s called or if it even has a name but if somebody can show me a tutorial or even explain what he does and how he does it that would help a lot. I started yo-yoing in 4th grade with a Duncan butterfly then by 5th grade I moved onto a dark magic 2, was watching Andre boulay expert village tutorials but somewhere in middle school I stopped for some reason and I think all my
Yo-yos were breaking and I couldn’t afford new ones, also I don’t think I knew how to properly adjust a string so my yoyo was probably hitting the floor a lot. I’m 27 now so I feel like I missed out a bit but I’m not gonna stop again i really love yo-yos so much and I feel like somewhere along the way life just distracted me from picking it up. When I started again about a month ago I set out a list of tricks that I could never learn and 2 of them are seasick and revolutions and recently I learned revolutions but I can not get seasick 🤣
