"You do not have write permission for the directory $BUILDDIR (/home/[my name]/yay)"
I posted a few minutes ago about a problem that I solved in a pretty stupid way. As I said, I've been following this specific video (link at the end) and everything was fine until they said to write the command: makepkg -si. Why can't I make a package? It tells me that I don't have write permission, but I'm the only user here. I tried writing in some commands like "sudo chown -R $USER: $USER" but they didn't work. 6:04 minute of the video: https://youtu.be/tfYwayiPe-k?si=QSHsU5Y1Sq\_-dRDg
