I'm throwing a 70th birthday lunch for my mom in 2 weeks. We had a place we were going to hold it but due to some unforeseen changes, we need to switch venues. Does anyone have a place near west bottoms/river market/crossroads they love? I'd even take near riverfront area. We have a wide range of ages and need to accommodate 20 people, a few with dietary restrictions. I'd like to keep it a casual place, preferably with a separate room because this is a surprise situation. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I'm potentially switching jobs and current employer covers (although not well) part of my zep rx. If I have to go self pay, I can do compound and pay about the same as I'm paying now for name brand, so I don't think there will be a huge cost shift. But, is it appropriate to ask when I get the offer if they cover glp1s? I would potentially take a slightly lower offer if they did, so I feel like it would be nice to know, but is it a bad idea to divulge I'm on them? I don't feel any shame for being on them, it's no one's business, I'm just trying to cover myself on all fronts. I really want a new job! I'm also not a stock piler (I have a few months in the fridge but not like a year I've seen from others) so I might have to get he ball rolling sooner rather than later on the compounded front if I have to go that way.

Also, I hate that this is how this system works, just had to say that. Healthcare sucks.

I have been on triz for over a year and have def lost some lbs, but more importantly I feel amazing and most importantly I'm not prediabetic anymore 🙌 I haven't seen my dad for almost 2 years, we had a falling out and I cut ties (long time coming.) I was at my niece's graduation party this weekend and the only thing he had to say to me was "wow, you've lost so much weight." I looked him straight in the eyes and said "I have no idea what you're talking about" and walked away. It made me giggle to just completely gaslight him. That is all, this group is the best.
