praying mantis - Sony A6000 + FE 100-400mm.
I was testing a new filter stack for my full spectrum camera and I took some reflection photos. this one reminds me of a praying mantis.
testing the 115 Peacock Blue gel.
not the sharpest combo, but good enough. I guess the culprit is the filter sandwich I have used: a cheap clear filter, the gel and the KG3 GRB3 in the front. I like how different vegetation produces different hues of orange and yellow.
next week I'll try the 139 Primary Green.
edit: it's a GRB3, not a KG3.
suggestions for color gels
I'm going to buy the famous Lee #115 Peacock Blue gel (actually the ones I found are Rosco) and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for any other gels that could provide interesting color effects.
Google has suggested #101 Yellow, #105 Orange (though I don't quite like the samples I found with those gels) and #139 Primary Green (this one looks nice).
I'm going to use them on a full spectrum Sony A6000. I also have a KG3 filter.
Libelloides baeticus (I think) A7RV+FE90mm

I know that's not how the song goes, but I think it fits the pics.
