Switching things up for a new personal commission hitting the bench this fall. I'm pairing a metallic blue caiman with a shrunk bull shoulder, utilizing the subtle sheen of the bull hide to complement the luster of the caiman. Because hide availability is limited to a single caiman skin, the design will lean toward a clean, understated aesthetic that lets the material speak for itself. I scored these Ammons custom boots from FBMP. The original owner had recently been deported & his son was selling his father’s cherished boot collection to help keep the family afloat during his absence. Buying these wasn't just a transaction, it was a small way to extend a helping hand & a gesture of support to a family navigating such a painful separation. It felt like a true honor to cross paths with them & play a tiny part in helping them through a difficult time.
