How quickly my baby adapted to a 6 hours time difference
We're in Mexico, from the UK. I was worried about how my baby would cope with the time difference, but she did so well. Better than my husband. She's 8 months old.
So sharing in case some parents are worried about future travel!
We left on the 13th or May, we had already slightly delayed her bedtime and wake up the week before. On the day of travel, we left at lunchtime. She took her usual afternoon nap. Then she started her night and slept 90 minutes before landing. We didn't try to keep her asleep as we landed around 6 pm local time. She took another nap on the way to the hotel from the airport. She ended up going to bed at around 4 am British time, 10 pm Mexican time. And slept until 4 am, then a bit more between 5 and 6 am.
She went to bed early the day after and needed a couple times resettling. She had a bit of awake time on the third night.
And now for the past two nights, she's slept through again!
