Bangs are standing away from my face after crimping

Hi,

so I'm quite new to crimping my wigs, I used to always avoid that part.

But now every time I crimp a wig, I have the issue that the bangs are standing away from my face and are not naturally lie flat to my skin. It looks really weird in my eyes. Idk what to do. I already tried to crimp them as close as possible to the wig head and then push them back into place while they are still hot, glue them down, use a ton of hairspray and try to iron them.

It frustrates me and is making me even more critical of my cosplays than I already am.

Anyone might know a solution?

How to get into performing into small events like ren fairs, little festivals etc.

Hi,

so I'm doing hoop now since 2 1/2 years and I would like to get into performing at smaller events like ren fairs, little festivals or also public events hosted by my hometown.

Unfortunately, I have never worked in the entertainment industry before so I don't even know where to start and how to promote myself or which equipment I need (I doubt that they will have something for me to rig most the time). Also so far I just choreographed one act for a charity show myself 😅

I do own a regular X-Pole A-frame which is easy to carry.

For reference, I'm based in Europe, more specifically in southern Germany.

Legality of hanging a hoop under a bridge

Hi,

I'm going on a road trip through the Alps (Austria & Liechtenstein) in a few days with my boyfriend (who's a photographer) and we wanted to take my hoop so we can maybe do a small photoshoot depending if we find a suitable place to rig it.

Since trees can be easily unstable and also might be on someone's private property, I was thinking to maybe hang it under a bridge.

Is that usually legal or do I need a permit for that?

Hi,

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a crash mat for my aerial rig but I have zero experience with that.

Any recommendations?

Preferably on a budget bc I'm high-key broke but I still don't want to save on my safety so +/-200€ is about my highest tolerance point.

For reference, I live in Germany.

Hi,

my partner and I are planning to visit Liechtsenstein in June for two days and since we're coming with a camper van I was wondering how the situation is to just park somewhere and sleep. No camping set up, really just sleep there for one or two nights and preferably take the public transport to get around.

Since we're broke I would prefer something free but I'm not sure about Liechtenstein's policy on that matter.

Any advice or spots you know?

We're coming from the direction of Germany.

Hi,

I recently made it my mission to learn lion rolls and I know they are not the most comfortable thing to do. However, I always feels like I'm halfway breaking my back and just get to 1/4 of a roll bc it's too painful.

Does anyone have some good advice?
