Je m’apprête à faire une pas pire grosse rénovation et j’aimerais avoir une serrure à code parce que je suis souvent parti et ça me permettrait de donner accès plus facilement à mes amis et famille au besoin. Je regarde pour la Yale assure lock 2 et je me demandais si des gens ici l’avaient déjà posée/utilisée et si vous êtes satisfaits. Mes principaux critères sont évidemment la sécurité, la possibilité d’utiliser une clé physique au besoin, la fiabilité du logiciel/app et la possibilité de générer des codes que je peux activer/désactiver (mon but c’est de donner l’accès au besoin, pas que tout le monde ait accès tout le temps).

Getting through my first watch through of US Survivor. I’m not from the US and didn’t watch survivor as it aired, so I decided to start from scratch. I just finished Cambodia (Second Chance). I really liked it! I particularly loved the tribal with 2 hidden immunities where none of the votes counted, then there was a tie on the revote 🔥🔥🔥

Please no spoilers about subsequent season, I’ve done a good job at avoiding spoilers

Urgh the scrambling after Angkor lost again. I don’t understand how they keep their patience with Abi 🤣 Tasha and Woo are saints.

Abi 🙄 yeah, a life-threatening heart transplant is absolutely the same as tendon replacement in your knee (and she laughs as she speaks about Woo’s mom’s surgery).

I hate how it’s obvious none of them even entertained the idea of Tasha winning it seems.

I hate Wigglesworth number thing, even though that’s why she lost her season.

Jeremy wins. I don’t hate this, but I also kinda feel bad for Spencer, because I feel like he did have to fight from the bottom a lot, I thought that might help him, but the whole family speech probably worked and I guess they didn’t think Spencer had changed as much as he thought he had. I kinda feel bad for Tasha too. I guess I wanted Spencer to win, but I’m biased (I just love him) and I’m fine with Jeremy winning

So I’ve been posting about my first watch through of Survivor US. I’m not from the states and I’d never gotten around to watching it all until a few years ago. I posted about Cagayan and Caramoan just a few days ago, and I’ve just been binge watching haha. It’s hard to take breaks, this stretch is awesome! I’m basically having as much fun as watching the 15-20 stretch.

I’ve been ranking the seasons in groups of 10. Here is my ranking so far for this group:

I loved it! It all started super strong for me because I watched a lot of the Amazing Race about a decade ago and Nadiya and Natalie might be my favourite TAR team ever, so the amount of joy and excitement I got when I saw them!!!

I was quickly brought down to earth when Nadiya was the first one to be voted out. Super sad. I really would have loved to see the twins work together at a reshuffle or merge.

I like to write down my first impressions at the first episode and revisit them later (to laugh at myself, most of the time).

First impressions:

Jon and Jaclyn: could really go either way

John and Julie
I hate them. They’re gonna rub people the wrong way. They leave early.

Baylor and Missy
Well they don’t seem like they’ll do well but who knows?!

Drew and Alec: I’ll think I’ll find them entertaining, but I doubt they play well.

Dale and Kelley: she’s not gonna last. He might do ok if he can work with people

Josh and Reed: they seem funny!

Val and Jeremy: I think they might do ok!

OMG IT IS NATALIE AND NADIYA! I hope they are as hilarious on survivor as they were on tar! And I hope they last!

Keith and Wes: oh boy. They won’t last 😭 (revisiting this comment: lol)

Interesting first impression… I feel like no one can win haha. Maybe Josh or Reed? Or Jeremy/Val?

Entertainment through the season:

OMG Natalie is the best villain, I can’t believe they bought her ”I thought you told me to vote Alec”

Missy’s ankle 😱 and she gets to stay! I now know it was broken. Woah.

OMG NATALIE AT THE FINAL 5. She’s so badass, giving her immunity to Jaclyn and taking out her biggest ally!

Alright so I’m super stoked that Natalie won. I think it’s super cool that she ends up winning the whole thing after Nadiya was the first voted out. I might be biased because I love them so much, but Natalie played such a strong game! She was winning against anyone IMO after the final 6. Keith could have had a shot, but I doubt he would have done well at the FTC.

The jury (apart from Reed) was very chill at the FTC. It feels like it was very clear for everyone already that Natalie was miles ahead the other 2 and the FTC was not necessary at all.

Favourite players of the season: Natalie, Jeremy, Wes, Keith, Josh).

All in all great season. Love the winner. I think she might have played my favourite survivor game so far. She was so good!

So I’m currently getting through my first ever watchthrough of US Survivor. I’m not from the states and I never watched it when it aired originally.

PLEASE NO SPOILERS FOR LATER SEASONS

So I am about to finish season 28 - Cagayan

I LOVED IT! It doesn’t beat Pearl Islands (I think it will just remain my favourite for ever). I think I still liked some of the 15-20 stretch better, but it’s up there with those for me! Definitely in my top 10 so far, maybe top 5! So many funny moments!

I didn’t love the premise, so I was happy when the shuffle happened. A lot of really great characters, HILARIOUS tribal councils, strong personalities, I really liked Cagayan!

I’m pretty bummed Spencer got voted out, I really was hoping for the underdog story, I think it would have made the season rank even higher for me. He got a bit cocky, but I thought he played really well, especially considering he was only 21 at the time.

I really disliked Tony and Kass. I’m surprised Kass made it so far actually. Tony was annoying to me, but I get why people probably love him and I do think he did play by far the strongest game out of the final 3. I can’t decide whether I like final 3s or 2s better.

I’m typing this as Woo is about to cast the final vote. I hope he keeps Kass, or else Tony wins for sure.

I truly believe he could have won if he’d taken Kass. I can’t see Tony not winning now, unless the jury is extremely bitter, which annoys me.

I would have liked a Tony-Spencer-Kass final 3. But at the same time I much prefer Woo to Tony and Kass personality-wise.

I like to write down what I think about the contestants when they first talk to the camera during the first episode and look at it again at the end. I feel like I didn’t do too badly this time. Here goes:

Spencer: I’m gonna like him I think! I hope he lasts. Although he seems like he’ll be a villain. Hopefully the good kind of villain

I’m not from the states and while I knew it existed, it wasn’t as big a phenomenon here (I don’t even know if it was possible to watch it here as it aired).

My corner of the world got its own survivor recently and it inspired me to start watching the original.

THIS POST HAS SPOILERS ABOUT CARAMOAN. If you care stop reading

PLEASE NO SPOILERS FOR LATER SEASONS, I’ve managed to avoid most of them. I know the premise of some future returnee seasons and I know one particular player never wins, but other than that, I have managed to not know anything and I’m trying to keep it this way.

So I wrote a post yesterday about Cochran when I still had 5-6 episodes to watch and I’ve binge-watched the rest of it and I just finished. Here are my thoughts:

Overall, I truly enjoyed it. I know a lot of you guys hate it, but to me it was so refreshing to get 2 seasons back to back that I didn’t hate. I feel like after Heroes vs Villains, the next few seasons were REALLY bad. Philippines and Caramoan were much more enjoyable. They won’t dethrone my faves (Pearl Islands and HvV, followed by 15-19, not in that order), but I enjoyed them and they’re definitely in my top 10 so far. I love Cochran as a winner, in fact I think he’s in my top 3 favourite players as of yet. He’s hilarious, smart, eloquent and I find him super hot haha.

Some thoughts:

A few first impressions that I wrote while watching:

Shamar: feel like he won’t stay that long, he seems abrasive and he might ruffle some feathers.

Reynold will make top 5 unless he plays really badly. Handsome man in sales? He’s snaking his way through (added today: he did pretty well considering!)

Matt seems fun!

I get that Phillip makes good TV but urgh I hate when he’s there.

Francesca will make it far (lol)

Erik will go far. His cardio is useful for challenges. (Added today: hated the way he left)

Corinne will make the merge I think unfortunately (I really hate her, although I find her entertaining)

Brenda will leave early (I’m glad I was wrong, I love her!)

Dawn will make it far I think, although she is a bit nervous, but I think she could be good to her allies (I hated the Brenda situation, but other than that, I was right… her meltdowns must have been exhausting both for her and her castmates though!)

Things that stuck with me:

Very happy with the outcome, but I do feel like the women got a very different treatment than Cochran.

No spoilers please, this is my first watch through of US Survivor. I’m at season 26 (watching chronologically).

My favourite players are season 7 Rupert (later Rupert not so much), Sandra, Cirie, Parvati, Boston Rob, JT and Stephen, Fabio, Malcolm and Cochran.

I wanna talk about Cochran. His confessionals are absolutely hilarious. But also… he keeps using self-deprecating humour and honestly, I get that he’s a nerd and probably had it rough with the cool kids, but I can’t be the only one who’s madly attracted to him? I find him super hot, super endearing and super charming. Like obviously people like Boston Rob have a more traditional swagger and people like Malcolm and JT are more conventionally attractive, but I think Cochran is absolute 🔥🔥🔥. Also had a big crush on Stephen in Tocantins, so I guess I like nerds that talk a lot 😂

Sorry for objectifying you Cochran, but yeah, I find him so attractive.
