Hi everyone:) after spending half a year in Berlin my taste for techno music changed quite a bit. The sets I used to listen feel too comercial and monotonous.
I discovered so many new genres and particularly have been loving Future666, überkickz, DJ Hyperdrive, fumi for groovy vibes.
For bouncy vibes my faves are zwilling and Achim Feuervogel, Adrian Mills, Serafina
I used to love Pegassi but the sets are pretty old now.
I have been trying to open my taste a bit more and have been listening some DJs that I saw in Berghain. The one I enjoy the most is Amotik. The problem is many of the DJs that play in Berghain don’t have sets or their style is really different to what you would hear from them in the club. I also don’t like it when it is too experimental like 10 minutes of almost no sound and things like that.
With this in mind I would love to hear recommendations on DJs and even better particular sets you love on Soundcloud. Can be any techno genre, but preferably quite up on the BPMs.

Hi everyone!
I did Erasmus in Berlin last semester and had the best time ever. I specially enjoyed the nightlife :)
After an amazing weekend in Berghain I decided to buy two Hive tickets on the first sale.
The thing is, my boyfriend is not the biggest party lover. He gets tired pretty fast and it can be a bit too much for him sometimes.
In the beginning I thought about giving him the ticket as a surprise for his birthday this week, but I am still unsure if he will be excited about it or reject it completely (I bought another gift anyways).
For those that already went to Hive, can you share a bit about the experience? Is it too hardcore? Is it also fun if you’re not planning to be in the dancefloor 72h straight?
Also consider for us it will be a big move since we are not living in Germany…
