Kaiser psychiatrists

Does anyone know a good psychiatrist who works at local Kaiser? The ones I’ve see so far have been pretty disappointing.

End of week 3 side effects is there still hope?

I am quite fed up at this point and starting to worry this drug might not be for me. From all SSRI/SNRI ive tried in the past usually by week 2 i felt significantly better. Not with prozac though. My experiece:

Week 1: 10mg mild chest pain, slight emotional bluntness, reduced appetitie

Week 2: 20mg severe activation symtomps, chest pain all day, constant state of threat, anxiety felt in the body but not in the mind

Start of Week 3 20mg: no more chest pain, still feeling hyper-alert to surroundings

End of Week 3 20mg : hyper-alert, emotionally blunt, brief disassociation, mild dizziness, feeling like I'm slightly drunk. Harder to concentrate on school work, staring into space. Zero sexual desire. Don't want to do anything (nothing sounds pleasurable), my motivation is fine, i get shit done I just don't feel anything while doing it.

Tomorrow is start of week 4 and Im starting to lose all hope. All I am feeling is horrible side effects and no benefits. The dissociation isn't norma for me like ever....it is scary for me, I sometimes feel like I am in a dream even though I know its not a dream. The only time I feel good is when I am deeply cognitively engaged where I become completely unaware of all feelings and emotions and just stay in the presence. I dont know if I should continue taking Prozac given im starting week 4 tomorrow and I feel ZERO benefits.

Chest pain side effects

Second time starting Prozac and again the same symptoms. Feels like my heart is being squeezed. Started 10mg first week and now 20mg 4 days into it and chest pain is more frequent and lasting way longer. Gets worse with high emotions like anger or stress. It also feels like deep emotional pain but I’m not in distress. Not having increased anxiety. This is my only side effect.

Last time I started this med I had to stop after a few weeks due to chest pain side effects and feeling like I was dying due to panic that caused me. This time I’m calm and yet still have this chest pain side effects. Starting to feel like a cramp in my heart. Now it’s constant squeeze / “emotional heartache” type pain. I feel fine while exercising or exerting myself. No issues with breathing etc…

Has anyone experienced this? Almost been taking it for 2 weeks.
