How annoying is using browser only?

I have a non-resident card at Queens Public Library and just discovered that they support Hoopla. However, I also just discovered that the Hoopla app is not available for download in my region.

So, before I go and create an account, how annoying would it be to only use it in browser? Preferably on my phone. I assume I won't be able to download things to use offline, but how about syncing with an ereader? Or just general usability?

Is it even a feasible solution?

Kobo not syncing with Libby

I have a Kobo Clara HD that has been working like normal, until today when I borrowed a book in libby and went to sync it to my ereader. And not a thing happened.

There seems to have been a few minor issues with libby/overdrive in the last 24h according to StatusGator.com, but they are showing it to be up and running.

I have tried:

- with different libraries

- with different books, both with and without DRM

- restart kobo

- de-authorise and re-authorise kobo in Adobe Digital Editions

- syncing about 7 million times

Connecting the device to pc and manually transferring books via Adobe Digital Editions works fine.

How likely is it that this is not a me-issue? And if it is, any ideas on how to fix it?
