Norma Jean vs Velvet Morning?

Could anyone provide a swatch comparison of the two? I've got Norma Jean and Audrey in my cart but I feel like they might be redundant in my collection. I'm a big orange red fan and I already have Velvet Morning, Strawberry Shock and MAC Lady Danger. Something about Morning isn't quite right for me and I'm not a huge fan of matte textures these days. I haven't tried the satin formula and I'm so tempted by these colors especially Norma. (Edited for typo)

Similarly to music and art, I think we fall in love with perfumes for the way they make us feel. I often use perfumes in a therapeutic way and I’ve been dealing with some stressful health concerns recently and really leaning into that. Even when I’m struggling I can still smell good. I thought I’d break my favorites down by mood.

What scents comfort you in tough moments or uplift you when you’re down?

Comfort/Cozy

Bienaime Jours Heureux - Being enveloped in a pink powder puff. Nostalgic, reminds me of the old time glamour of nanas and being a child. Unfortunate my husband doesn’t like this lol (Decant)

Lolita Lempika - My first signature scent. Enchanting, sweet nostalgia.

Shalimar - Soft enveloping dry down feels very cozy. Reminds me of Christmas.

Le Labo Thé Noir 29 - Feels cozy on a rainy cold day. (Decant)h

Grounding/calming

Byredo De Los Santos - Reflexively grab this when I’m emotionally spiraling. Bracing sage and fresh mineralic ambox/musk base. Don’t wear it too much but I do like having it.

Diptyque Tempo - Soft fluffy patchouli and sage (two favorite notes). Kind of smells like a meadow now that I think of it.

Uplifting

Jo Malone Orange Blossom - Sunshine in a bottle!

DS & Durga Debaser - My all time fave maybe? So bright & sunny. Just makes me feel good.

Sultry

Le Labo Thé Noir 29 - Gives a bad bitch aura for the night time. Well, an almost 40, demure bad bitch.

Guerlain Shalimar EDP - I love Shalimar for the contrast between edgy/challenging and warm/nurturing. I call it my leather mommy perfume. A little bit animalic leathery sexy, a little bit mommy hug.
