New flea market scores

I scored these at a flea market my partner and I go to every weekend. All of these for $16. I am absolutely in love with the big chandelier earrings. Both pairs of earrings are clip-on, but I still plan to wear at least the chandelier ones. I didn't notice the smaller pair wa missing a rhinestone until I got home. The star pin was really dirty and in a dollar jewelry bin, but it cleaned up really nice.

My rhinestone jewelry collection

I love rhinestones so much. The second pic is fireflies, the third, the colored stones are a beautiful purple color, the pic doesn't do it justice, the fourth one is corn jewelry and the last one are shoe clips.

In hospital, need to vent about "food".

I'm in the hospital with a pancreatitis flare-up. This means IV fluids until I'm allowed try a clear liquid diet to see if that increases my pain and if I'm okay with that for a few meals, they will usually let me go home. I also have a caffeine allergy (FML, right??!?!), it's thankfully not an anaphylactic reaction, but it's still an allergy. I am okay with herbal teas or decaf teas, but I don't do decaf coffee and obviously stay away from anything else I know that has caffeine in it. The kitchen has my allergy.

Last night I got my first clear liquid "meal" which consisted of apple juice, a jello cup, hot tea, and "consomme". I out that in quotes be cause what I got tasted like hot water. It didn't even taste like it had any seasoning. The chef that allowed that to leave their kitchen either has no taste buds or just didn't give a flying f@$#. The tea bag I received was an orange pekoe and black tea, despite the fact that there was a yellow slip on my tray with a big red allergy stamp on it with caffeine written under it.

When she came to get my tray, I told my nurse that I could not have that kind of tea because it has caffeine in it and asked if she could mention to the dietary staff that I caught this but if someone else were in the same situation, they might not be so lucky. Later that night, my nurse said she spoke to dietary and it was taken care of.

This morning, I got my lovely tray of liquid breakfast and guess what kind of tea I got. You guessed it, orange pekoe and black tea. 🤣🤣. I did eventually get a decaf tea bag, when my water was like warm. The only saving grace this morning was breakfast did not include any "consomme". I can't wait to go home.

P.S. I wasn't really sure what flair to use, so I chose "discussion".
