As the title says. Xiao nrf solar node I built Is ready for deployment after testing. When I tried to give it the repeater role, Xiao stubbornly returns to client. It Is on Alpha 2.7.25 FW.
Did anybody notice similar behavior, or did I forget to read something:)

I am looking for a standalone device for wife, And T-DECK pro seems to fit the bill quite nicely. What discourages me is the silence. Do any here use it with meshtastic successfully, or is it a mess the silence seems to hint?

This sentence was always little confusing for me. Up to Elros, the lineage is shared. After that, Elrond adds Galadriel to his lineage via Celebrian. Galadriel however was cousin of Turgon, hence nothing new, and Celeborn, who was nephew of Thingol, so nothing new in lineage as well.
Father-in-law to be, of course, probably needs to instill a bit of holy terror into Aragorn, as well as to put A into his place and try to discourage him.
I would argue, that Aragorn by that point has richer ancestry however

Since hyperbole understanding seems to be lacking, I simulated the situation differently. Unless one has control over both nodes, one should not jump to conclusions
19km over very hilly terrain. Fun thing is the devices are 8 meters apart. Fixed position makes all the difference, so unless one is able to confirm both ends of the equation, one should not jump to conclusions
How viable would be solving remote node by meshpocket 5k mah and 3w solar panel with direct usb-c output?
