Books about God for kids

The nine-year-old I help out with was talking about God for the first time, and i think she will at some point soon ask whether I believe in god... Mum is agnostic afaik, and I have the complex ideas and experiences of god of many quakers. I don't want to over complicate things, but nor do I want to do the simplistic guy in the sky thing. Are there any quaker books for kids which might help with this conversation? Not Q history, or stories about being kind etc, but about the reason we sit in silence and the experiences we might have.

She doesn't come to meeting because we have no other children, but she might do, one day. UK based, and TBH the Quaker bookshop doesn't seem to have much. I see bible stories, books about other religions etc, but that's not what I'm looking for. The only quaker one I can see ('A Friendly Word') is out of stock! although I will get that one from Amazon.

Any other ideas?

Home page books showing

A long shot, but I wonder if it's possible somehow to edit the books that appear along the top of the Home Page in Kindles.

I use that section easily to find and open current books, but would like to be able to delete those that I'm no longer going to be reading. It shows books that have been recently opened, but (for example) also some I have opened, but am not actually reading. (due to Amazon's annoying feature of not being able to look at basic info about the book without opening it). Also some that I've finished and have deleted the download will show up for ages.

I'd like it just to show the books I am currently reading (which could be three or four).

I have created a collection for those books I am currently reading, but sometimes I forget to put one in there, and am looking to have a quick shortcut to find and open it.

Kindle on Windows 11 PC

Just in case this helps anyone else: I recently tried to open my kindle app on pc and saw that it had been archived, and a new one for Windows 11 was available. I managed to track that down on the MS app store, and downloaded the .exe file. But when I tried to execute it, I was told that 'This product is not compatible with your PC's processor'. ??? Since I have a brand new Surface Pro 12, a purchase made necessary by effing Microsoft nonsense, I find this odd, irritating and indeed inexplicable.

So I had a hunt around on here and saw that there are so many glitches with the new app that people are using the browser version anyway, which I hadn't thought of. It looks fine, and I'm grateful. I don't read on the pc, but I do use it to save highlights.

Thank you denizens of Reddit, you have helped me a lot through this set-up process.

Edit: Having used the Kindle browser on the pc, I see it doesn't show docs, ie imported pdfs etc. This is disappointing, and I hope I'll be given advice about how to download the app after all!
