Wedding Ring Purchasing Advice

I’m looking for a replacement as I unfortunately lost my wedding ring a while ago. We can’t afford to get one as expensive as it was. I’ve been looking on Etsy and it seems so many of them are mass producers and showcase images of other jewelers work. I’ve also looked on Instagram and Google to find reputable sellers. They’re too expensive for our budget for what I want, at least what I’ve found. I’ve looked on Ebay as well but it looks to be about the same as what’s on Etsy.

I chose “Ships from US” and “Etsy’s Picks” and have found a beautiful ring that I think I want to get. For the size 2 ct moissanite marquise cut with a 14k yellow gold band (which is what I’ve been seeking), it’s $600 something. With a wedding band I’m sure it would total to close to $1000. Here is the link.

Only thing is there is another seller, from Australia, showing the same exact ring for sale but the backdrops are different. Both of them are around the same price. I don’t know if either of them are the original designer, but I would definitely go for the seller in the USA (where I live).

Thoughts, advice, suggestions?

What is your experience?

I’ve worked at two vet clinics in my life. One was great, I don’t remember hearing any shit talking behind people’s backs or disrespectful communication. Had a fantastic manager.

The one I currently work at…can be very toxic and immature despite its positives. I’m preparing to leave, which I should have done a long time ago.

I’m feeling very discouraged about working at another clinic. People are people. But I don’t want to work so close to them if it’s going to be like this at most clinics.
I’m seriously considering just working at Costco.

For those who have worked at multiple clinics, what has your experience been? Bonus points if you live in the PNW.

It’s about control

It’s totally okay to believe different things. I acknowledge I came off like I was arguing truth and dismissing yours. That wasn’t the conscious intention and I’m sorry. What was underneath that was intolerance for anyone to try to control how I participate or don’t participate in a belief. No matter if it’s superstition or religion.
I’ll try to honor it but if I don’t adhere to everything you want me to, I’m not internalizing your reaction. That’s your stuff. Not mine.

You’re still alive, but I’m grieving you.

I’ve never fully had you because your defense mechanisms ruin our relationship. Ruin my emotional safety with you. Ruin the sacred bond of mother and daughter. You can’t see me or yourself clearly. You’ll never be what I need when I’m hurt by you. Ever. You’ll always blame me. You’ll always double down. You’ll always deny the truth, just as you have always done to survive. There is no changing this. I have to grieve you and let my hopes go so that I don’t react to your bullshit as I support you through your physical and cognitive decline.

You never physically left me, but you abandon me every time you deny my experiences and blame me for having feelings you find uncomfortable to sit with.

You will never acknowledge the deep pain you cause. Ever.

I have to accept this. I have to accept it in the moments you say the things that set me off. I have to accept it when I’m hurting, when I know what you’re saying isn’t true, when you’re in denial, when you’re telling me the sky is polka dots.

How do I say goodbye to the mom I never fully had? When she is still alive?

Feeling misunderstood

Who else gets super triggered by this?

It’s heartbreaking because I feel this way so often.
I don’t want to be different like this.
