i noticed my lyi was starting to open this morning so i threw my phone in. it’s not the best on the lighting but i least i got something!
my lime sherbet that i grabbed at plantcon eaelier this year is a’bloomin’. the first of several active dunkles that are flowering! smell is understated and hard to describe, but it’s quite fresh and barely floral.
is it normal for lockii peduncles to fall off on their own? my lockii is blooming its second peduncle but the first peduncle that bloomed a few weeks ago yellowed and dropped off.
i had an inclination to trellis this millie sms-019 to help with leaf growth, but she looks so good trailing! the right tendril is very long now.
incoming leaf on callistophylla obsidian.
found in bottom of cover pot when repotting one of my hoyas. i saw two of them. i couldn’t get any better resolution unfortunately.
spectatissima bloomed…and smells amazing, a sweet floral.
my hoyas are now happily re-ensconced in their tall milsbos… first pic was friday afternoon, second pic was monday eve. i rearranged shelves, added pegboards, redid lighting and reloaded plants (more than before). just waiting on fan mounts and skadis planter inserts to hang a couple more. i’m so happy with how it turned out, although i still have a lot of up-potting to do on many of them.
smells a bit like butterscotch which on a flower isn’t as pleasant as i thought it would be.
