Is Direkte Zulassung legit for a second Bachelor’s?
Hi everyone, I’m an international student planning to pursue a second Bachelor's degree in Germany.
Here is my situation: I already hold a Bachelor’s degree from my country but the degree that I want to pursue is in a completely unrelated field compared to my first degree. I checked the Anabin database, my university has an H+ status.
According to my initial research, this qualifies me for Direkte Zulassung. However, I want to make sure before I start applying:
Does having an H+ Bachelor's degree completely bypass the Studienkolleg requirement? Or is there any hidden caveat where a university might still ask me to take a foundation course?
Assuming my German language proficiency meets the course requirements, can I just apply and enroll directly into the first semester?
I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this path or knows how German universities evaluate a prior degree for a second Bachelor's.
Thanks in advance for the help!
