I think it shows very clearly in this scene. From a distance, its design is passable. But once you look closer at it, you notice how goofy it looks and this particular scene always takes me aback. The only good part of its design (for me at least) is that you don't really know what you're looking at, and the fact that it's very hard to decipher where its face is, as humans generally try to assign a front to things. Captain Clark is so much better than the Bacteria.

That is to say, the rest of the short is masterclass and overall, this grievance does not affect my enjoyment of the short as a whole :)

I'm obsessed with the section around 4:50 and the whole kinda Friska section as a whole, are there any other pieces that have that same feel? Also, is there a name for that theme as I am in no way a musician lol.

I drew this i thought it was quite good, and i was wondering if this coheres to a specific art style/aesthetic. As well as that if you have any critique on this drawing id love it if you'd share it :)

this is two variations of the flag for The Sovereign Duchy of Ardonia. it was a country in the very early 1800s to around ww1. all critique/ questions regarding both the flag and/or country are valid.

from left to right: the Kingdom of Orkasia, the Romano Empire, the Corvan Republic and the Grand Prussian Empire. This is for a WW1 alternate history world im devolping. These are the four main countries in this world. The Kingdom of Orkasia and the Romano Empire are allied under the Orkasian-Romano Alliance of 1840, whilst the Corvan Republic and the Grand Prussian Empire are allied under the Bismark Treaty of 1843. any criticisms/questions are valid.
