It was listed as [MINT++] by the seller (no surprise) but clearly has either haze or condensation inside the front element. Should I try cleaning it myself using online tutorials or just ship it back and call it a day? The price was very good, so I’m looking for possible solutions. Thank you for your advice!
The depth of field is razor-thin wide open, but the swirl is so worth it. The colour rendering is superb, however it does flare and lose contrast very easily, so a hood comes in handy.
After shooting my first roll with the new-to-me Leica M4-P 70th anniversary edition, the film advance lever and shutter buttons got completely locked up once the film was rewound. I definitely don’t want to force it, and at this point the best course of action seems to be finding a good repair technician in Toronto and getting the camera CLA’ed while I’m at it.

Bought this from Dutch Thrift because I had a store credit, they only had pictures of it inside the case. The outer rim of the filter is the same size and the outer rim of the Summicron 50mm, but the inner thread is a lot smaller, about 36mm. But it’s not a slip-on like an A36mm.
