Has anyone ever reinjured their ankle while still healing?
I just fell HARD on the bad foot. I felt a crunch when I fell and now I’m kind of freaking out. Should I go to the ER?

I’m calling it a big win!
I’ve been recovering from a severe broken ankle (trimalleolar fracture with total dislocation and soft tissue damage) since March. As of this past Monday, I can begin weight bearing. I have to use a walker and I’m in an aircast boot. BUT 14 STEPS!
I’m feeling really proud of myself. It hurts like hell but I still did it!
Food tax of shrimp with lobster sauce.
It was with the walker and I definitely can’t put my full body weight yet, but I did take 10 steps.
It hurts like hell now, but I’m proud of myself.
Lately I’ve been dying for Shanghai-style lion’s head meatballs. Does anyone know of a place in Orlando that serves them? I’ve managed to find most of my other Chinese food faves, but not this one.
Thanks in advance!
Don’t mind the sleepy eyes. I’m on month three of healing from a severe broken ankle so I’m tired all the time.
Anyway, I have a $60 gift gift card that my friend sent me because I’ve been talking about skin care. What do you think I should buy? Here is a basic list of my daily routine, which is pretty simple right now because I can’t walk yet so getting up and down to get things from the medicine cabinet is a pain.
AM:
Clarins daily gentle exfoliating cleanser
Rice milk toner
Snail mucin serum
Vitamin C
Cerave daytime moisturizer
Cerave eye cream
PM:
Ponds cold cream or Albolene if I had makeup on
Cerave hydrating cleanser
Ordinary glycolic acid
Ordinary granactive retinol
Cerave night moisturizer with some rosehip oil mixed in
Cerave eye cream
I also only sleep on silk pillowcases.
I have the Qure microneeedling system but have not used it yet.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!!
According to my orthopedic surgeon, my healing is on schedule, which is good. I have not started physical therapy yet and I’m not allowed to do any weight-bearing yet. I have two questions.
Over the past few days, my ankle has been hurting again. Not horrific but pretty sharp and pretty constant. Is this a normal part of healing or do I need to call my doctor?
When am I gonna stop feeling so tired all the time? Is this just part of healing and also part of the fact that I can’t really do anything? I’m just so exhausted all the time.
Thank you all in advance.
I’m working on a playlist called Chill Guys and I’d like to add more songs to it. Right now, it has artists like Nick Cave, Ryan Adams, Robbie Robertson, Velvet Underground, Otis Redding, Allman Brothers, and U2. Lots of adult alternative, alt-country, and older songs from the 1970s and back.
I would love some suggestions on songs to add to the playlist. And of course, if anyone would like my Spotify link to check out the list itself, I’m happy to provide it.
Thank you all!
Hi, I’m American and I swear I’m not as stupid as this question makes me sound. Also, I’m asking specifically about old money, wealthy families.
I grew up in the Northeastern US, near some places known for generational wealth. It seems like many old-money American women 60+ tend toward suits and similar conservative outfits. Below 50, it’s less staid.
British dramas make it look like generationally women are thrust into a Chanel suit as soon as she gets engaged or turns 25. But I also don’t really have any experience of British women of that kind of wealth. I’ve only had two passing conversations with older women I suspect were of that class, but honestly, they were spectacularly eccentric. it was like they got them from Central casting. I will forever wish I remembered their names.
Anyway, it is really that many suits? I naturally assume TV drama costume department just lie to me, so I thought I’d ask.
Thank you for your kind attention to my ridiculous question.
