A new peak E4 my experience

A new peak E4 my experience

A couple of months ago I posted that I reached my all time peak by hitting plat for the first time.

Well... I just hit emerald and it was a journey not gonna lie. Mainly because for the best part of 2 months I was one-tricking bel'veth until I got plat 2. Then a bit of a meta change made things difficult since a lot of the engage characters were not really popular.

I made the swap to Xin Zhao after the ap update and I saw the final push of the division as a walk in the park. Mainly because as I mentioned the engage it's been lacking as of late and with Xin I can fill that role.

The one thing I learned and maybe helps someone is to learn the concept of punishing. If your opponent is a degen perma ganker, starve them from resources. Know your match ups and windows of opportunity, ping your laners and back at the right time.

I heard emerald is hard for how different the skill brackets are distributed but I'll try to push to diamond.

Feel free to ask. I am glad to help anyone with what I personally know.

Keep grinding jungles.

My third item choice

Every since last patch I've been spamming Xin, trying lots of builds. And now that I'm at the doors of emerald I found an item I fell in love with. I go to the hourglass third item, and honestly it's metal. My thought process is that if Jax can go for it, a bruiser that heals would rock too.

It wins so much time is crazy. You can disagree with me that's fair but to my liking it is unmatched in value.

I go standard bruiser and build hourglass third.

Maybe it works for someone else.

PTA conversation

Fellow lancers, I wanted to speak about the PTA rune. I am a Belveth main, butXin is my secondary pick (currently spaming him). And after trying a conq, lethal with the hybrid build... I thought about the variation Belveth has with PTA, i ripped it against an scaling squishy team and the results were splendid. I believe this is situational, against characters that have no way to respond to you in the early game.

The inmidiate advantage of this set up is the vulnverability damage after you proc it, the cast of your W after the PTA is live goes hard. I dont think you need to diviate the build at all, what changes is the approach to a pick gameplay instead of a teamfight.

I just wanted to share it with you and maybe give it a spin.
