Legality of a law passed by Congress that said C corporations in the United States must give 50% of their profits as dividends to their workers?

If an organization asks somebody about how much their lifetime earnings is, will they get litigated for ageism, or, are they allowed to do that to try to hire disadvantaged persons? I.e. somebody who has less lifetime earnings than others?
