Family of 4 , kids 12 and 9, have been travelling to cities in North of England for holidays. Since starting this last year, we have done Newcastle, Manchester, York and then Newcastle again.

In a couple weeks, we will be visiting Leeds for 3 days. It was a toss up between Sheffield and Leeds and, after seeing some posts on here, I pushed for Leeds.

But now, we still don't have any stand out activities in mind, nothing booked except travel and accommodation.

Please let me know if the things we absolutely miss. What can I tell the family to get them excited?!

I listen to a lot of comedians on podcasts talking about doing corporates. I have never, not will ever, have a job that would put on an event with a guest speaker or comedian. I'd love to hear your stories of any corporate gigs you may have been to. Who was the comedian? What was it like? How was the room set up etc?

We're taking the family away to Newcastle for an overnight trip but, unfortunately it's the same night as our away tie to Sturm Graz. Can anyone recommend somewhere in Newcastle that might be showing it? Bonus points if it's kid friendly.

I currently have a very complicated relationship with social media (as do many others) and it got me wondering, What would Steiner have thought of Social media? We can only speculate but I'm sure there are people on here who are better read than I that could make an informed guess.

Also, is it possible to have an anthroposophical approach to Social media?
