UK i5 M60 new owner
Took the plunge a few weeks back. Living in the NE of the UK presents public charging issues so have previously been sceptical about EVs.
Came from a M4 xdrive that I loved, but sadly the UK roads are now more like a colander than a race track ! Lovely car, will always be one I remember.
The suspension on the i5 is fantastic. It’s not an M4 weight wise, but it’s made travelling so much more comfortable. Sticks to the road like glue (as did the m4), but this is really controlled on bend entry and exit. Considering the weight, that’s an achievement.
The level of tech is impressive. I spend time in China regularly, so have seen the best in next gen. It’s not there, but by European standards the Driving Asst Pro is v v good.
Range with aircon on, needs careful management, but it’s a v sporty car. I don’t buy it for driving in efficiency mode !
