Macro Tracking with Oura Ring

I’m wondering if Oura will ever have an actual macro tracking feature in their app. The AI photo determining if your meal is “nutritious” is all fine and good, but is it really a good tracker if you’re over consuming calories, or under consuming protein, etc.?

I use Cronometer, which links with Oura and is nice, but if I’m already paying a subscription fee, it’d be nice to have a feature like that included.

Has anyone heard if this is a feature Oura is considering including?

Alright y'all, I am back for round two! Lots of folks roasted me last time (in a good way. I appreciated the constructive feedback!), which really forced me to re-think how I pack. I'm the type of person to pack outfits, and I think I need a new piece each time I wear something. The thing is, when I'm at home, I usually wear the same five articles of clothing, so I applied this to how I packed for this trip. Not sure why I didn't do this earlier, but here we are!

First photo is everything I packed, second and third photos I tried to get a picture every single day of what I wore, but did forget a couple when I had an outfit change for dinner.

I traveled with the Patagonia Black Hole Mini MLC 30L backpack, and my hiking pack (L 10.25" x W 6.5" x H 19.5"), which I packed inside my 30L backpack, in the laptop sleeve.

Itinerary:

Torla: Hiking, hiking, and more hiking! Arrived on Monday morning in Barcelona, rented a car, and drove to Torla, Spain. Spent Tuesday-Thursday hiking in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.

Barcelona: City exploration, Basílica de la Sagrada Família, Flamenco performance, eating tapas and drinking wine! Arrived on Friday afternoon.

For the hiking portion of my trip, I basically wore a sun guard, base layer leggings, rain pants, and my rain coat. Tuesday we had the most perfect weather that the rain layers were not needed. Wednesday and Thursday rain layers were a NECESSITY! On Wednesday, we basically got stuck in a cloud, and everything was soaked through. Luckily everything dried out in time for Thursday, just to get soaked through again! I had a long sleeve shirt, but it wasn't very warm. Next time I will swap out the long sleeve for an actual warm base layer. The weather was hard to predict in the mountains.

I think even though people may still criticize the amount of pants I brought, it worked perfectly. The jeans were the most versatile, and the Columbia pants could have been used for hiking if my base layer and rain pants didn’t dry in time. Luckily I was able to wear them casually around Torla. In Barcelona I had a lightweight pair of cotton pants, which were very handy since we had an extremely fancy dinner at Cocina Hermanos Torres (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). I would have been underdressed in jeans. The flamenco show I could have worn jeans, but wanted to be a little bit more dressy as well, so the cotton pants were worn again.

For my toiletries I brought the following items:

-Face wash

-Face serum

-Face moisturizer
