Damage control devs high on AI use

Hi fellas

Im a senior architect overseeing a platform project in a multi vendor setup, i am myself a contractor and a lot of devs in my team are from the client

The problem is there are a few smart young ones that go and vibecode entire frameworks and libraries and sneak them in as build plugins. Given the political nature of things i would like help to deal with this.

Is there a way where such things can naturally flow into build radiators etc? Prevent excessive overengineering is what im trying to do

PS - No AI was used for framing or anything for this post.

Is this song AI? Feels very sloppy.

“All that has worth” by Seb Mankoo?

Feels very creepy but i suspect a lot of songs on my playlist are AI

Performing cycle repairs in the building cycle parking

Hi all,

I know about the strict rules for using chemicals in public places . My building has a separate kellar room for storing bicycles. I wanted to know if its possible to be doing some regular oiling on the chains and filling up on tubeless tyre milk in the kellar.

Is it possible to do this also out in the open or should I absolutely take my bicycle to a repair shop instead?

Can I install two internet providers in the same appartment?

Got scammed by Telekom into replacing my Vodafone DSL (300mbps) for promise of fibre connection - the common salesman at the door scam I got to know about here later. After 1 year the fibre is still not here and I'm using telephone cables like the good old days for a maximum speed of 100mbps. And apparently my contract allows them to do this switcheroo business.

I'm in a contract for another 8 months but can't bear the slow speeds.

Can I also install Vodafone DSL in parallel now and go back to my old 300mbps plan, supposing they are different ports?
